STUDENT AIDE POSITIONS
Student Aide Positions available at Westside Community Adult School.
Student Aides are limited to working 15 hours per week and are paid $6.75 per hour. All student aides are required to take a TB test. (We will assist them in getting free TB tests from the local L.A. County Clinic in Hollywood.) Only Adults mus be finger printed.
Applicants do not need to be college students. They can be concurrent high school students who attend at least 15 hours per week.

JOB OPENINGS FOR TEACHING ASSISTANTS
Westside Community Adult School has several openings at our various sites for Teacher Assistants. Out TAs would work mostly with our academic teachers in classes for high school/adult students at one of our campuses located at Fairfax High, University High, Palisades High and/or Hamilton High. Working hours available span from 3-9 PM Monday-Thursday.
TA's duties include correcting/grading assignments, maintaining student files and working one on one with students under the direction of a teacher. Our TAs need to have complete 60 semester units, and will need to pass a district proficiency test. TAs prerequisite skills include: people skills, being reliable, good reading, writing and math skills. Compensation: Compensation starts at $9.89 per hour, with health benefits not offered. This is a part-time job.
