TOEFL Preraration Classes

The Test of English as a Foreign Language or TOEFL Test is needed for college, university, or graduate school admissions. In the past, international students have had to go to expensive, private language schools to prepare for this important exam. In order to meet our students’ needs, we designed the first and only FREE TOEFL Preparation Course in the Los Angeles area.

Now we are launching a new course to prepare students for the next generation TOEFL iBT Test. This new version, which integrates all four language skills, will debut in September 2005. Our instructors have been certified to teach this latest version of the TOEFL.

The two master teachers, Giannina Rochlin and Jolie Bechet, both have MA’s in TESL/Applied Linguistics from UCLA. Students may choose to take one or two sessions daily.

The TOEFL Preparation Class is a comprehensive course that helps learners acquire the skills they need to pass the TOEFL Test. There is intensive listening, structure, reading, and writing practice in addition to conversation practice and vocabulary building. The class is made up of an international mix of highly motivated people. The majority of our students need the TOEFL for further study in the United States, but some just want to perfect their English skills. The TOEFL Preparation class meets everyone’s needs.
