Parent Education "Mommy & Me"

This course provides students (parents) the opportunity to study the pre-school child (toddler thru pre-school) through participation, observation and discussion. It emphasizes recognition of the prime role of the parent as teacher of the child and offers specific techniques to fulfill those roles. The growth, development and needs of pre-schoolers are covered through a shared creative experience of music, art, stories, and play. The class provides age appropriate activities so that your child can practice emerging skills while socializing with other children and adults. As a parent of a young child, you will have an opportunity to meet other parents to share knowledge, experience, support and friendship. Parents and their children participate. No Registration Fee. Class Fee: $20.00. Student Body: $2.00. Instructor: Teri Stansfield.

Discuss ways to become a more effective parent and help your child become a better learner. Parents, children and staff will participate in activities together!

Programa Familiar de Aprendizaje

Una gran oportunidad para que padres de familia aprendan junto a sus hijos! Mientras los padres asisten a clases de ingles los niños de 3-5 años asisten a clases pre-escolares. Los padres reciben clases para educar a sus hijos. Descubra nuevas formas para ser un padre mas efectivo y que los niños sean mejores estudiantes. Los padres y niños participan en diferentes actividades las cuales se hacen conjuntamente con el personal docente.
