Computer Literacy

Contains definitions of common terminology; use of the computer in the home, business, and school; understanding how a computer works, operation of a personal computer with pre-programmed software; and word processing with integrated software. Understanding and Using Computers
Designed for older adults, but suitable for persons over the age of 18.
This course offers instruction in the use of personal computers. Instruction includes baisc computer skills, word processing, database, budget management, adaptive equipment, and computer purchasing. The registration fee is $10. (Seniors 60 years and over do not pay a registration fee.) Class fee: $18. Student Body Card: $2. Course Number: 52-10-50

Open Computer Laboratory
Do you need a little extra help with your computer? This is an "open" lab where students are encouraged to practice on their own, but with personal assistance of a computer instructor. Students enrolled in other computer classes do not pay any additional fees. New Students under 60 years of age pay a $10 registration fee.
